Bahrain participates in regional forum on media, information literacy

Cairo, Apr. 25 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain was chosen as a member in the Arab Coalition on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) during the Regional Forum on Media and Information Literacy, organised by UNESECO Cairo Office, Al Ahram Canadian University and Mentor International Association for Media Education with the participation of 15 experts from Arab and foreign countries. Shatha Almuradi represented the Ministry of Education in this forum, in which she gave a presentation about the ministry’s experience in this field. The forum addressed ways to promote communication and information literacy in the Middle East, achieve integration in curriculums in the region regarding the concept of media education, launch Arab branch of the international coalition for partnerships pertaining to communication and information literacy, following the rapid developments in the Arab societies.
