Bahrain Pre- Employment 2015 Exhibition to open tomorrow

Manama, Oct.5 (BNA): "Bahrain Exhibition for Training and Education Pre- Employment 2015" will open tomorrow –Tuesday- at the Sheraton Hotel Taj Ballroom. Medpoint Event Management is organizing the two-day event under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa. Medpoint Event Management Chairperson Shaikha Noora bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa paid tribute to the patron for supporting the exhibition, which reflects the Government’s keenness on promoting training programmes and honing the skills of jobseekers to ensure their adequate integration into the labour market. She hailed the active participation of the Labour Ministry in the exhibition through pavilions showcasing employment and training services and programmes that promote human resources, citing the insurance against unemployment scheme. She commended the ministry-led efforts to provide training opportunities in order to equip jobseekers with the necessary professional skills that meet the needs of the private sector. She pointed out that a number of ministries, national companies and enterprises had also confirmed their active participation in Bahrain Exhibition for Training and Education Pre- Employment 2015". She cited particularly the Labour Ministry, the Education Ministry and the Labour Fund –Tamkeen – which will take part in the exhibition as strategic partners, in addition to local and Arab universities, vocational institutes, educational and training institutions, employment agencies, embassies and consulates. Hussain Mohammed Habib, the organizing associate, said that that the exhibition would feature three main pavilions for education, training and employment. The education pavilion attracts higher academic establishments and universities which are authorities by the Higher Education Council to grant the Bachelor of Arts and the Master degrees. The training pavilion will feature essentially the vocational institutes which operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour, particularly those cooperating with Tamkeen. Companies providing training opportunities for a limited period will also take part in the Bahrain Exhibition for Training and Education Pre- Employment 2015. The exhibition includes pavilions for international companies and employment agencies, providing a total of 170 jobs in different specialties. International employment agencies will conduct immediate job interviews.
