This is Bahrain society holds annual Ramadan Ghabga

Manama, June 7 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, “This is Bahrain” society held at the catholic Sacred Heart Church, in Manama, its annual Ramadan Ghabga, in the presence of Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Environment and President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the civil society institutions and invitees. The Labour and Social Development Minister conveyed the greetings of HM the King, describing the event as a reflection of Bahrain’s civilisational image of tolerance and co-existence. He stressed that the wide range of functions is a translation of the comprehensive reform march in the prosperous era of HM the King. He also described the celebration as an embodiment of co-existence characterising the Bahraini community. Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa lauded the unlimited support of HM the King to foster co-existence, peace and religious freedom. Deputy Board of Trustees Chairperson and Head of “This is Bahrain” society Betsy Mathieson praised religious freedom in Bahrain, describing the annual gathering as a reflection of the spirit of tolerance the kingdom is keen to promote. The celebration also included a documentary spotlighting the initiatives of HM the King to foster religious freedom in Bahrain and promote the kingdom as an oasis of tolerance and co-existence.
