Bahraini peace advocate appointed HWPL ambassador

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Co-existence President Youssef Buzaboon has been designated as ambassador of the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) organisation. An HWPL delegation visited the headquarters of the peace-loving Bahraini association and presented Buzaboon with a certificate officially designating him as ambassador. The delegation delivered a letter from HWPL President and founder Man Hee Lee to Buzaboon hailing his dedicated efforts, as head of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Co-existence, to promote voluntary work over more than 38 years and active participation in the World Peace Conference in South Korea. Buzaboon welcomed the delegation, wishing the organization every success in its dedicated efforts to achieve peace in the world and promote conciliation between countries ravaged by wars and internal conflicts. Buzaboon took part last September in the World Alliance of Religions for Peace Summit, which brought together 250,000 people, and 2000 religious and social leaders and peace advocates from all over the world. Buzaboon offered the HWPL appointment to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier as well as Bahrain people. Buzaboon hailed the HWPL appointment as representing an international vote of confidence and acknowledgement of Bahrain’s pivotal role in protecting world peace.
