Bahraini-Russian cooperation in aluminum industry reviewed

Manama, Feb 9 (BNA): On the sidelines of the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Federal Republic of Russia, the Bahraini and Russian sides had held a meeting to review the joint work progress. Undersecretary for Industry also Chairman of the Bahraini -Russian working group for cooperation in the aluminum industry field, Osama Mohammed Al-Oraidh, represented the Bahraini side, while Sergey Sergey Tsyb led the Russian side in the meeting held in Moscow. The two sides reviewed prospects for cooperation in the production of bauxite and ammonia. They also highlighted boosting cooperation in marketing, exchange of information and logistic coordination. They agreed to push cooperation towards enhancing new products researches, as well as exchanging expertise in the area of aluminum. This meeting is the second of the Bahraini -Russian working group for cooperation in aluminum industry field. The first meeting was held in Bahrain in Nov. 2015. The cooperation between the two sides comes to open new horizons of coordination and joint action in other areas, consequently promoting bilateral relations.
