Bahraini youngsters congratulated on International Youth Day

Manama, Aug. 11 (BNA): HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, congratulated the Bahraini youth on the occasion of the International Youth Day which falls August 12 every year, expressing his pride for their capabilities and potential. Royal Support HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed that the Kingdom has prioritised its youth and has considered them the key driver of development in all fields, enabling them to become partners in making decisions. "Bahrain has given its youth the required support and a space to develop their abilities in line with the 20130 sustainable development goals, stating that HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, instructed through HM's reform programme to provide the Bahraini youth with an ideal environment, and encourage them of productivity and creativity in order to become true participants in Bahrain's efforts towards achieving sustainable development. Government's Efforts HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa added that the government's efforts, headed by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First DeputyPrime Minister, have focused on carrying out programmes aimed at cementing the role of youth in building our society. Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the exceptional efforts produced by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in translating HM the King's directives via implementing strategies supporting Bahraini youth to unleash their potential and abilities.
