Bahrain's reforms, investment opportunities highlighted in Germany

Berlin, Mar. 23 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to Germany, Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, participated in the German-Mena Conference 2018 held in Berlin by NUMOV. The ambassador delivered a speech in which he highlighted Bahrain's vision 2030, the reforms of the labour market, Bahrain’s selection to be the basis for Amazon Web Services office, in addition to the Kingdom’s freedom of religion. He noted that Bahrain was ranked as the best country for expatriates and the best destination in terms of expenses for trade. He also addressed the Gulf Gateway investment conference which will be held in Manama from May 8 to 10, under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He went on to view ways to use the investment opportunities in Bahrain in various fields such as energy, health, tourism, education and real estate. He praised the role of the Economic Development Board, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority in reinforcing cooperation and investment between the Kingdom of Bahrain and various countries of the world. NUMOV is the oldest and largest organisation in Germany for economic development between Germany and the Near and Middle East countries. It supports member companies in establishing and expanding trade relations and enhancing bilateral cooperation. The organisation works with the German Embassies in the region, Embassies of other countries, Federal Ministries and the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
