Bahrain's supportive stances towards Kuwait will remain engraved in national memory: Ambassador

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, has lauded Bahrain’s historic honourable stances towards Kuwait’s rights during the brutal Iraqi invasion in August 1990. He said that the generous care provided by the Kingdom to the Kuwaiti citizens present on its lands during the occupation period reflects the depth of the long-standing relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, affirming that relations between Kuwait and Bahrain will remain strong forever. In a statement marking his country’s National Day and the anniversary of its Liberation, Shaikh Thamer stated that Bahrain’s stances will remain engraved in the memory and heart of every Kuwaiti citizen, expressing his thanks and appreciation to Bahrain and its people for their effective participation in Kuwait’s official and popular celebrations of its National Days. The envoy stressed that the two brotherly countries are resolved to strengthen their relations in all fields. Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah extended sincere congratulations to the Kuwaiti Amir, HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince, HH Shaikh Mishaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well to the Kuwaiti people and residents, on the 60th National Day and 30th anniversary of the Liberation Day. He asserted that the State of Kuwait is confronting the challenges of the novel Coronavirus successfully, adding that it will continue attaining achievements across all fields. He added that Kuwait will remain a source of confidence for the world in spreading the culture of peace, love and cooperation in order to serve the security, stability of the region and the world.
