Bali To Host World Hindu Meet 2018

DENPASAR, Bali, May 7 (Antara)- Bali will once again host a World Hindu Meet this year. "The event must be well prepared," Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika, concurrently president of the World Hindu Parisad, said here, Sunday. The meeting to be themed "Hindu for Better Life", is expected to promote Hinduism as a religion that offers better life, according to the governor. "This theme is simple, but it's not easy because the term 'better life' has different criteria and different perceptions, as well, based on the observation scale, knowledge, experiences and value systems which are all different, too. But, the red thread can be drawn," he added. The sixth World Hindu Meet will be held on June 23, 2018. The first meeting was organized in 2013.
