Bangkok's Government House prepared for new PM

BANGKOK, August 23 (TNA) - Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office ML Panadda Diskul has inspected renovation works at Government House's buildings in Bangkok to ensure that Thailand's incoming interim prime minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha will be able to start his work immediately after he receives an official appointment in a Royal Command. ML Panadda told journalists on Saturday that he personally believed General Prayuth should begin his work at the Government House after the formation of his Cabinet, which should take some time. The army and junta chief was unanimously selected as Thailand’s 29th Prime Minister by National Legislative Assembly (NLA) members earlier this week and he is, meanwhile, waiting for the royal endorsement in a Royal Command, which is expected soon.
