BCCI Chairman receives Consumer Society chief

Manama, Nov.27 (BNA): Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Almoayed received Majed Nasser Sharaf President of Bahrain Consumer Protection Society at his office in Bait Al Tijjar. While hailing the long strides of the society in raising awareness and advocating consumers’ rights, Almoayed expressed the Chamber’s support to the society and its goals and welcomed collaboration. From his side, Sharaf explained the society’s intent to expand and strengthen its bond with relevant government and non-government institutions in a bid to consolidate efforts and collaborate in advocating and ensuring the rights and interests of all market players. He also underscored the Chamber’s role and achievements and proposed forming a joint committee to enhance communication and achieve common goals. The meeting was attended by BCCI Chief Executive Officer Nabeel Al Mahmood Bahrain Consumer Protection Society vice-chairman and board member Tariq Alojan and Khalid Almanaseer.
