Beavers to "conquer" our rivers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar city’s administration intends this year to start an acclimatization of beavers in some rivers and to let them create healthy families. In 2011, 16 heads of beaver were acclimatized at the Zaan river. It has been also planned to acclimatize the animal at the Tuul and Terelj rivers, so the city will monitor every year a research into mammals that populate banks of these rivers.
