Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- Big hauls have been witnessed in the main fishing ground of the West Sea of Korea.
According to data available, fishery stations and fishermen's cooperatives in the western coastal area have caught over twenty thousands tons of fish through collective fishing campaign from early in March.
The Ministry of Fisheries concentrates efforts on increasing the amount of catch in the main fishing ground.
After properly establishing the system of transferring satellite data on fishing grounds, the ministry instructs fishery stations to conduct mobile fishing campaign.
More than 130 fishing boats catch a large amount of fishes in waters off Monggumpho and around Cho Islet every day. -0-
