BIPA wins Middle East excellence award

Manama, June 13 (BNA): The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) has won the 23rd Middle East Smart Government and Smart Cities Excellence Award, in the category of smart learning services.
“The prize is awarded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute”, said BIPA director-general Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams.

He underlined BIPA drive to optimize the use of information technology (ICT) in enhancing government work through smart training e-programmes and promote the national cadres’ performance.

“The prize was awarded to BIPA in acknowledgement of its initiatives to promote electronic training programmes and design e-training courses as part of the national programme for development government personnel”, said Dr. bin Shams.
