BIRTH RATE INCREASES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to given information by the National Statistical Office, 31574 mothers delivered 31785 babies in the first five months of 2018. This is an increased indication compared to the same period of the previous year. Specifically, number of mothers gave birth increased by 2625 or 9.1 percent and live birth by 2642 or 9.1 percent. Moreover, maternal mortality was 11, increased by 4 or 57.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
