BIRTHS INCREASE AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DECLINES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first five months of this year, 33 thousand and 371 mothers delivered children and the number of live births reached 33 thousand and 600. The number of the mothers delivered children increased by 1,163 mothers or 3.6%, therefore the number of children rose by 1,235 or 3.8% against the previous year. The number of unemployed people reached 38.0 thousand at the end of May 2014, reflecting a decrease of 2,557 people or 6.3% against the previous year.
