BM organizes scientific conference among students

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Bank of Mongolia (BoM) organized Thursday a scientific conference entitled “Why is the Price stability core topic in our lives?” and “What is the negative consequences of inconstant high inflation?”.It was published Friday at the BoM’s website. The aim of this conference was to improve the academic and practical knowledge of students who are studying in economic field, about Mongolian economy as well as monetary policy. Over 20 materials collected from over 30 participants and eight out of them were selected to present their research in the second level. Students of the University of Humanities have taken the first place with their work named “Estimation of the Transparency of Central Bank, its influence on inflation by econometric modeling, followed by the students of School of Economic, National University of Mongolia at the second and third place with their works named “Sectional weak trends stimulates the inflation: Agricultural sector”, and “Why is the Price stability core topic in our lives”. The rest 5 teams have competed equally and rewarded by special prizes from the Bank of Mongolia. We wish a notable achievement to the students for their further studies.
