BMA announces over 4.3m eligible voters for March 3 gubernatorial election

BANGKOK, February 6 (TNA) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has officially announced that there are now more than 4.3 million eligible voters and a total of 6,548 voting stations for the upcoming gubernatorial election, set on March 3, 2013. In the official announcement, issued on February 5, BMA said that it has ordered all 50 district offices in the capital to publicly put up the name lists of all eligible voters in their respective areas for the public to double check. The City Authority urged people who find any mistake with the name lists to immediately report to district offices in their respective areas within February 20. Meanwhile, candidates contesting the March 3 gubernatorial election have kept campaigning for votes. (TNA)
