Body of Thai worker killed in South Korea's gas blast to be sent home

BANGKOK, March 3 (TNA) - The body of a Thai worker who was killed in a gas explosion in South Korea last week will be soon sent home. Sek Wannamethee, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department of Information, told journalists on Monday that the Thai Embassy to South Korea is coordinating with the family of the worker in sending the body back to Thailand. Sek, who is also the ministry's spokesman, said that another Thai worker who was injured in the incident was admitted to a local hospital. The two Thai workers were among casualties from the gas explosion at a ceramics factory in South Korea's Gyeongsangnam-do Province on February 27, 2014.(TNA)
