Bogor Prepares Tourism Agenda To Enliven Asian Games

BOGOR, West Java, July 18 (Antara) - The government of Bogor City in West Java has prepared five tourism agenda during August 2018 to enliven the international sporting event of Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang. "We have prepared five major local, national to international tourism agenda during August to enliven the Asian Games 2018," Bogor city government spokesman Ade Sarip Hidayat remarked here on Wednesday. He said the five agenda are Red and White Festival to mark the 73rd anniversary of Independence Day, Helaran People's Party in the form of art and cultural parade, the 2018 Asian Games Torch Parade, Independence Day celebration, and the fifth agenda is Palace for People or Istana Open at the end of the month. Istana Open is a special program for free visits for the whole community, including tourists to the Bogor Presidential Palace. Istana Open is held from Auguwt 21-31, and is coupled with a free visits to museums. The visitors to the Palace can also visit four museums for free in the city of Bogor, namely Perjeongan museum, PETA museum, Alam Nusantara museum, and Earth museum or Museum Tanah. "The entire tourism agenda is a series of activities in order to commemorate the 536th anniversary of Bogor City which was delayed from June," Ade said.
