Bolivian President condemns US anti-Iranian policies

Tehran, May 21, IRNA – President of Bolivia Evo Morales in a tweet condemned US policies and threats against Iran. 'Bolivia condemns US threats against Iran and their intention to deploy forces to the Middle East,' wrote Morales in a Twitter message on Monday, according to Prensa Latina. Morales wrote, 'Imperialism always takes steps in the interest of war industry.' He wrote the message while in reaction to Europe's passiveness, Iran has limited its commitments to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and given European countries a 60-day deadline to do their JCPOA commitments. Experts believe that Iran made a smart move that made the European to make an important choice. Iran stopped the sale of the surplus heavy water and enriched uranium. The US quit the internationally confirmed deal and restored all the sanctions on Iran. Other signatories of the deal – China, Russia, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom – condemned Washington's decision and announced that they will stay in the accord. Morales has already criticized the US for its policies in Latin America and said that Washington is after weakening leftist governments in the area and finally toppling them.
