Bomb Attack On Police Van Kills 6 In Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 23, IRNA – Six policemen were killed in a bomb attack in Pakistans southwestern Balochistan province on Monday, police sources said. The remote-controlled bomb targeted a police van in Pashin district when it was on routine patrolling, they said. Police confirmed that policemen who were injured in the attack died of wounds in hospital. The blast also injured five people including policemen. No group claimed responsibility but authorities blame militants for the attack./end
