Boston bombing raises alert at Thai airports

BANGKOK, April 16 (TNA) - Acting President of Airports of Thailand Pongsak Semson, said airport security had been put on high alert for an indefinite period following Monday’s bombing incident in Boston. Pongsak said after a meeting with management, high security would be maintained for an indefinite period, including security patrol and search operations across six major airports namely Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai and Phuket.
