Botswana President Receives Credentials of Qatar's Ambassador

Gaborone, March 17 (QNA) - Botswana's President Ian Khama received the credentials of HE Salem Abdullah Al Jaber as Qatar's nonresident ambassador to Botswana. HE the ambassador conveyed to the president greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani along with HH's wishes of health and happiness to the president and progress and prosperity to the government and people of Botswana. In turn, the Botswanan president entrusted HE the ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir and his wishes of health and happiness to HH as well as progress, development and prosperity to Qatar. The president also wished the Qatari ambassador success in his post, stressing that he will receive all support to promote bilateral ties between the two friendly countries to closer cooperation on all fronts. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways of boosting and developing them. (QNA)
