Britain has no doubt in Thailand's probe into Koh Tao case

BANGKOK, October 14 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha insists that the British government has no doubt in Thai police's investigation into last month's murder of two Britons on Koh Tao in the Gulf of Thailand off Surat Thani Province in the Thai South, where they joined in the Full Moon Party. General Prayut, who is also Chief of the army-led National Council for Peace (NCPO), told journalists on Tuesday that a Thai charge d'affaires in London has explained the issue and the British government has had no doubt. According to the prime minister, the British government said the arrest of suspects was supported with clear evidence, including reliable scientific one. The Thai premier acknowledged he has, however, ordered the Ministries of Tourism and Sports and Interior to keep the Full Moon Party in compliance with rules, especially those concerning party hours and drug abuse. The prime minister stressed he has also told concerned authorities to emphasize the quantity and quality of tourists to prevent problems. (TNA)
