Brunei's Navy Chief visits Thailand

BANGKOK, August 3 (TNA) - Brunei's Navy Commander-in-Chief Commodore Pengiran Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad is paying a three-day official visit to Thailand, scheduled for August 2-4. The visiting Brunei navy chief, who is the guest of the Royal Thai Navy, was officially welcomed by Thai Armed Forces Chief General Worapong Sa-nganet at the Royal Thai Armed Forces' headquarters on the outskirts of Bangkok on Monday. The Bruneian and Thai military leaders then held bilateral talks, underscoring sound and longstanding relations and friendship between the two member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and their armed forces. Both sides also affirmed on steady military cooperation, which also promotes and strengthens bilateral military ties, leading to their sustainable and stable cooperation in the future. (TNA)
