Butterfly watching season begins in Phetchaburi

PHETCHABURI, April 29 (TNA) - Butterfly watching season begins at the Kaeng Krachan National Park, where about 290 butterfly species can be found, especially at mineral licks. The proper time for butterfly watching activities is in the morning until before noon as they perch on the ground under the sunlight to warm up before searching for food. Upto a hundred of butterflies can be seen near swamp areas. Visitors can enjoy a one –day trip from Bangkok to join the activity while the national park will also distribute tree seedlings to visitors for growing in the forest. The butterfly watching season will run until the end of May. (TNA)
