CABINET DISCUSSES SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet meeting on last Saturday approved a parliamentary draft resolution on approval of the State policy on sciences and technologies and agreed to submit it to the parliament. Draft developers saw a need to review the current State policy on sciences and technologies, in view of necessity of developing knowledge-based tendencies in scientific and technological achievements. The State policy on sciences and technologies dating 1988 emphasizes development of sciences and technologies in the nation during the transition period to the market economy.
