Capital governor participates in WCS Mayors Forum

Singapore, July 10 (BNA): Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa participated in the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum (WCS Mayors Forum), which was held under the patronages of Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Teo Chee Hean. They discussed the mechanisms and means of city development, climate change, water management, environmental challenges and transportation management, the importance of innovation and the development of solutions that contribute to improving urban life. The governor, pointed on the importance of benefiting from the experiences of the cities and projects which were shared in the summit, and debated the possibility of reproducing and developing them in line with the available capabilities. He also attended the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, which was held in the Summit, under the patronage of the President of Singapore Halimah Yacob.
