CARE EXPO Thailand 2019 expected to attract over 20,000 int'l visitors

BANGKOK, May 16 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, joins forces with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the private sector in organizing the CARE EXPO Thailand 2019: International Trade Exhibition for Quality Senior Lifestyle in Bangkok later this year, expected to attract over 20,000 international visitors. OSMEP Director Suwanchai Lohawattanakul told journalists on May 15 that at the CARE EXPO Thailand 2019 : International Trade Exhibition for Quality Senior Lifestyle, set to be held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC), the EH103 zone, during August 29-September 1, international visitors will enjoy the display of goods and services, as well as innovative technologies produced and developed to specially serve senior citizens. Suwanchai said that Thailand's SMEs bringing their products on the public display and sale at the two-day event will also have business talks directly with their Japanese counterparts for the creation of their business networks, which is in line with the Thai government's policy on promoting the Kingdom as an international medical hub. MCOT President Khematat Paladej acknowledged that the CARE EXPO Thailand 2019 : International Trade Exhibition for Quality Senior Lifestyle is part of an MCOT strategy on working together with business partners towards the company's new business opportunities. According to the MCOT president, MCOT will, thus, present, as of July 2019, new programs on its media channels, including all 62 stations nationwide of its MCOT Radio Networks and MCOT HD TV station, with their content to particularly serve elderly consumers.
