Cassation Court President participates in GCC meeting

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): Cassation Court President, and Deputy President of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, participated in the 6th periodic meeting of Presidents of the Supreme Courts and Courts of Cassation in the GCC countries. Chancellor Al Buainain reviewed Bahrain’s proposal to create an electronic contact to receive court requests regarding judicial announcements, letters, and the implementation of judgments between GCC countries. The meeting discussed the work of the specialists committee from the supreme courts and discrimination in the GCC countries, in addition to issues of common interest that will contribute in developing judicial work in GCC countries.
