Celebration of Thai National Elephant Day

LAMPANG, March 10 (TNA) - Forestry Industry Organisation (FIO) will organize celebration of Thai National Elephant Day next Monday and Tuesday by at the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre in Lampang. March 13 of every year is designated as the Thai National Elephant Day. The FIO is responsible for providing conservation and raising elephants while the agency also compiles information and knowledge on Thai elephants for the public. Several exciting activities such as offering alms with elephants to monks and an elephant photo competition will be held on both days. (TNA)
