Chinese Communist Party lauds huge development in Azerbaijan

Baku, December 22 (AzerTAc). “Azerbaijan has made a great progress under leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Escaping serious impact of global financial crisis requires courage. The Chinese government welcomes successes gained by Azerbaijan,” visiting deputy director of the international department of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Chen Fengxiang said at a meeting with Executive Secretary, Deputy Chairman of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov. Ahmadov hailed his meetings and talks held during his China trip. YAP Deputy Chair noted foreign countries keep a close eye on rapid economic growth in China, adding Azerbaijan is also developing successfully. According to him, cooperation between YAP and Chinese Communist Party help to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries. The Chinese official said the high-level organization of the international conference “modernization policy: new economic and social challenges” is an indicator of Azerbaijan`s rapid development and attention to modernization. He pointed out both nations benefit from successful cooperation between YAP and Chinese Communist Party. Discussions also revolved around reciprocal visits, prospects for development of interparliamentary ties.
