Chinese Official Confirms Iraq's Importance In The Map Of His Country's Foreign Relations

BAGHDAD / NINA / Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for bilateral relations, Nizar Khayrallah discussed, in the ministry's headquarters, with his Chinese counterpart, Zhang Ming relations between the two countries and ways to improve them. Ming, during the meeting, according to a Foreign Ministry statement, confirmed the importance of Iraq in the map of China on Foreign Relations and expressed China's desire to help Iraq in its current crisis, adding that the aim of his visit is to prepare visit of senior Chinese officials in the next year in addition to the opening of the Chinese consulate in Arbil. Khayrallah, according to the statement, appreciated the commitment and support of China in the various political, economic and military fields, as China is the biggest trading partner of Iraq, stressing the desire of the Iraqi government to make all possible efforts to improve relations between the two countries. / End
