BANGKOK, April 26 (TNA) - Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand have signed an agreement on the setting up of the Centre for Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), tasked with bringing about effective programmes and projects under the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) to benefit people of the three countries. Leaders of the three neighbouring countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN, including Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, witnessed the signing of the CIMT Establishment Agreement after the 7th IMT-GT Meeting, held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei's capital, on Thursday afternoon, as part of the 22nd ASEAN Summit, hosted by Brunei from April 24-25. The CIMT will be based in Malaysia, with its founding to be equally funded by all the three neighbouring countries. The IMT-GT covers Indonesia's 10 provinces on the Sumatra Island, Malaysia's eight out of 10 states and Thailand's all 14 provinces in the southern region. During the 7th IMT-GT Meeting, chaired by H.E.
