Citizens to discuss ‘transparent tender’

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With a goal to enhance people’s involvement in public procurement, a meeting themed "Transparent tender and citizens involvement" is to run February 26. At the meeting in the Citizens’ Hall, participants will explore ways to strengthen scrutiny over procurement activities of the Government. Representatives of non-governmental organizations and professional associations will also be present at the event planned by the Capital city Procurement Authority, under its goal to build transparency in its procurement actions. The meeting-training invites those who have a working experience in infrastructure building, civil engineering, economics and ecology and who want to take part in contractor selections for city development projects.
