Coal Mongolia 2015 begins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The fifth annual forum for stakeholders in the coal sector of Mongolia started on April 9 at SS Center. The action has brought together 600 international delegates and also 50 companies who are mounting an exhibition. According to its program, the forum will focus on the coal sector’s competitiveness, and will host presentations about the priorities for Mongolia in financing mega projects, opportunities in the global market for commercializing coal gasification plant products, about a duration of the decline in coal market and ways of overcoming this period. Mongolia is striving to trade its riches at the highest as possible price through commercializing value-added coal products into the third markets, said the hosts. The fifth "Coal Mongolia" coincides with the critical time for foreign investment and for the signing of Tavan Tolgoi operations agreement with the strategic investor.
