Commander-in-Chief inspects BDF units

Manama, July 12 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid an inspection tour to various BDF units where he was briefed on the units progress.

The Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of steadily strengthening the units’ administrative and combat readiness, plans, training programmes in harmony with combat requirements and administrative demands to face all challenges.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa hailed the wise vision of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Supreme Commander, in developing the BDF that matches with similar advanced armies in the world in terms of combat readiness, preparation, planning, operational management, crises management, land-, air- and sea maneuvers, as well as meritorious and successful achievement of goals and results.

The top commander pointed out that the BDF has taken large strides in terms of buildup and modernization, including successfully building robust base of qualified national cadres in all scientific specializations, emanating from the firm belief in the importance of citizens in leading the Kingdom’s currently witnessed progress.
