Concerns over heart problem patients joining ‘Bike For Dad’

BANGKOK, Dec 10 (TNA) - With only a day left for the ‘Bike for Dad’ event to take place, Dr. Anuchar Sethasathien is the Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine has expressed concerns over participants suffering from heart diseases and has assigned doctors to carry an automated external defibrillator (AED) and travel along with the cyclists . Dr. Anucha advised that cyclists in the ‘Bike for Dad’ event, organised to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 88th birthday, to have a medical checkup, take enough rest and not to ride too fast. Dr. Anucha said the Institute has set up a special team to closely monitor and compile the number of accidents and people suffering from sudden illness during the ‘Bike for Dad’ event.
