CONFUCIOUS INSTITUTE SELECTED AS THE BEST

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian State University's (MSU) Confucius Institute has been selected as one of the Top-30 institutes of Confucius around the world. The diploma confirming this award was granted to a delegation, headed by Prof. R.Rinchinbazar, a deputy rector of the MSU and head of the Leading Council of the Confucius Institute, during its participation in the 7th session of the world's Confucius Institute which ran late 2012 in Beijing of China. For the time being, over 400 such Institutes and some 500 Confucius Halls exist in 108 countries. The MSU's Confucius Institute has run a Chinese language training, a Chinese language Olympiad, and "Bridge of Chinese language" regional contest. Thanks to them, the Mongolian pupils and students have taken first places in the Chinese Language Bridge Cup Contests, also new creative works have been done at the sector of Chinese studies, and joint scientific conferences have been held successfully. The Institute has contributed to developing of exchanges between Mongolia and China and to strengthening the mutual understanding between the countries' people. Established in 2008, the MSU's Institute was named first time as the one of the top in 2010. B.Khuder
