Constitutional Court to consider two cases

Manama, May 29 (BNA): The Constitutional Court will convene its judicial session on Wednesday chaired by court chairman Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa to consider two constitutional cases. In a press release the Constitutional Court said: "Firstly, Constitutional Case 1/C/2016 will be considered regarding constitutionality of the text of clause 36 of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Commercial Arbitration Centre's procedural code associated with Law Decree 6/2000 for alleged violation of the provisions of clauses 20 and 31 of the Constitution"; and, secondly, Constitutional Case 1/C/2016 will be considered regarding constitutionality of clauses 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the Property Lease Law 27/2014 for alleged violation of the provisions of clauses 4, 18, 20/F, 104 and 105 of the Constitution."
