CONSUL GENERAL MEETS WITH REP OF TURKISH FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Consul General of Mongolia in Istanbul city of Turkey E.Monkh-Ochir met Monday with Mr Ugur Kenan Ipek, ambassador and a representative of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Istanbul. Monkh-Ochir expressed condolences over Soma mine disaster and said his Consulate officially opened in Istanbul to protect Istanbul-based Mongolians' legal rights and to intensify trade, economic and cultural ties between Mongolia and Turkey. In turn, Mr Ipek said he is satisfied with an establishment of the Consulate General and highlighted an importance of bringing our historical relations to a newer level. The sides also exchanged views on ways of promoting the Mongolian art and culture in Turkey and of expanding fruitful cooperation in economic sphere.
