Coronavirus Vaccines Exceed 108 Million Doses in GCC Countries

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - GCC Statistical Center (GCC-STAT) revealed that the number of Coronavirus vaccines given in the GCC countries exceeded 108 million and 30 thousand doses. The Center stated on its twitter account on Sunday that the Gulf countries recorded a very large recovery rate, in addition to recording a significant decrease in infections with COVID-19. It added that the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the GCC countries amounted to 3,438,296 cases, while the total number of recovery cases reached 3,259,738 cases, and the total number of deaths reached 20127 cases on Saturday, stressing that the recovery rate in the Gulf countries as a whole reached 94.8 percent.
