CPPCC Chairman wraps up Bahrain visit

Manama, Nov. 7. (BNA) – Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Yu Zhengsheng has expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the kingdom for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying high-level delegation throughout their visit to the country. CPPCC Chairman voiced pride in the advanced level of the historic Bahraini-Chinese relations, strengthened thanks to the two countries’ leaderships’ keenness on bolstering them and opening up new horizons of bilateral cooperation for the common interests of their friendly peoples. Speaking as he left the here today, he expressed satisfaction at the fruitful outcome of his delegation’s visit to Bahrain. He lauded the kingdom’s senior officials’ keen interest to consolidate joint cooperation, commending the efforts of the Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Salah Al Salah to ensure the success of the visit. First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Jamel Mohammed Fakhro, who saw off the Chinese delegation, along with other Shura senior officials, underlined the council’s desire to develop relations with China.
