CRIMES IN FIGURES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At the national level, 7,672 crimes were registered in the first four months of 2012, reflecting an increase of 691 crimes or 9.9 per cent against the previous year. This increase occurred mainly due to the increases in crime against the right of ownership (567), against the rules of safety of traffic and use of motor vehicles (97), against human life and health (or physical well-being) (48), against environmental protection rules (46) against the previous year. Due to these crimes, 2,708 people were injuries and 394 died. The number of injured went up by 77 people or 2.9 per cent, and the number of the victims declined by 43 people or 9.8 per cent against the previous year. B.Khuder
