CRIMES IN STATISTICS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the national level, 15 thousand 628 crimes were reported in the first seven months of this year, reflecting an increase of 812 crimes or 5.5% against the previous year. This increase was largely attributable to the rises in crimes such as against the right of ownership (445) and infliction of a bodily injury (474) against the previous year. Due to these crimes, 5,993 people were injured, 623 died. The number of the injured increased 795 or 15.3%, the number of the killed went up by nine people or 1.5% against the previous year.
