Culture and Sports Minister to Discuss National Theatre Challenges with Dramatists

Doha, June 27 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali will hold a meeting with dramatists, actors and people interested in theatrical work on Tuesday at Qatar National Theatre. The ministry invited the members of the theater groups and those interested to participate in the meeting which comes from the keenness of the Ministry of Culture and Sports to interact with all Qatari intellectuals in various fields of creativity and to communicate with them to develop the cultural sector. The meeting will discuss the challenges facing the national theater movement and participants will exchange their different views in order to come out with a clear vision and plan for the advancement of the theater in Qatar. HE Minister of Culture and Sports announced last month the launch of the theater's Affairs Center in order to improve the theater movement. (QNA)
