Culture Minister Meets Francophonic Ambassadors

Doha, November 09 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met here on Sunday with a number of International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) member states' ambassadors accredited to the State of Qatar. The meeting focused on aspects of cooperation between Qatar and OIF as well as the State of Qatar's Participation in the OIF Summit which will be held in Senegal on 28-29 November. The meeting also discussed the arrangements of organizing the Francophone Cultural Week in Doha during next March on the occasion of the International Francophonie Day. The meeting attended by ambassadors and diplomats from the embassies of France, Canada, Senegal, Djibouti, Tunisia, Comoros, Switzerland, Belgium, Moldova, Morocco and Macedonia. The State of Qatar became an associate member during the organisation's summit, which was held in the Democratic Republic of Conga's capital Kinshasa in October 2012. (QNA)
