Culture Minister: Muslim Artists Must Unite Against Western Culture

Tehran, July 9, IRNA – Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini said that convergence of Muslim countries and exchange of experiences among Muslim artists will form a unified front comprising Muslim countries against West’s culture and Hollywood. Culture minister made the above statements during a meeting with artists and cinema experts of the African country of Yemen in Tehran on Sunday. “The West is always trying to create obstacles to prevent a friendly interaction between artists and Muslim countries,” Hosseini added. He expressed hope that the Yemeni artists and cinema experts will familiarize with the latest achievements of Iranian experts and different progress made by them during their stay in Iran./end
