Danish Envoy Voices Readiness For Cultural Exchanges With Iran

Mashhad, Feb 18, IRNA – Danish Ambassador to Iran voiced his countryˈs readiness for cultural exchanges and cooperation in the field of campaign against illicit drugs with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially Khorasan Razavi province. According to Public Relations Department of the provincial Governorate General, Anders Christian Hougaard said in a meeting with governor-general, Mohammad Hossein Forouzanmehr that the Iranian Muslim nation is a great nation. Forouzanmehr, for his part, expressed the provinceˈs readiness to help promote bilateral ties with all friendly countries based on mutual respect. He called for exchange of workforce, students and academic instructors between the two states. Referring to Iranˈs exports to Denmark which include carpet, handicrafts, nuts and agricultural products, minerals, construction materials and petrochemicals, he added that Khorasan Razavi province is ready to promote economic cooperation with Denmark in the fields of cement industry, petrochemicals and foodstuffs. In light of its geographic location, the province is considered gate to Central Asian states and it is located on the north-south and east-west corridors, he said, noting that it can prepare the ground for transit of goods.
